INITIAL FASHION | Little Thunder: A Cinematic Dialogue of Hong Kong Nostalgia

In a poetic fusion of fashion and illustration, INITIAL FASHION teams up with acclaimed Hong Kong artist Little Thunder to create a collection that captures the hazy beauty of 90s Hong Kong. Framed through the lens of a nostalgic cha chaan teng, the collaboration reimagines daily life as cinematic memory where style, storytelling, and culture blend into a wearable photo album.

Known for her dreamy, detail-rich illustrations, Little Thunder transforms tea-stained tablecloths, neon-lit ice boxes, and quiet moments into art that pulses with emotion. Her creative philosophy aligns seamlessly with INITIAL’s vision of fashion as a living narrative.

In this series, vintage visuals and tactile memories are translated into silhouettes and fabrics. Each garment becomes a scene, where time folds, stories surface, and the spirit of 90s Hong Kong is stitched into the present. Like a photograph developed in a darkroom, this collection brings fleeting moments into sharp focus—art you can wear, stories you can walk in.
