Deconstructing the Boundaries of Rebellion and Elegance: Denim
Reimagined in "In Gentle Disorder"

When fabric casts off its assigned symbols, dressing becomes a seamless extension of individual expression.

INITIAL’s newest seasonal concepts, "In Gentle Disorder" and "The Silent Chapel," draw inspiration from two contrasting cultural eras—the utilitarian rebellion of 1960s American workwear and the refined, intellectual structure of 1950s tweed. Filtered through a 90s Grunge Fashion lens, the design team collides tactile tweed with rugged washed denim. Through raw fraying, jagged cuts, and deconstructed tailoring, classic boundaries of style dissolve to reveal a compelling statement in poetic contrast.
